Understand the rights and duties of students, teachers, and parents in building a safe, caring school community.
A caring and safe psycho-social environment is critical for:
effective teaching and learning to take place;
developing good character in students and helping them achieve their fullest potential; and
enhancing the quality of students’ school experience.
The school believes that this desired environment can be created when students take ownership, teachers provide guidance and parents give their support on matters related to student well-being. For this to happen, common understanding must exist between students, teachers, and parents. This section of the student handbook aims to elaborate on matters related to student well-being and consists of the following sub-sections:
